Medical Receptionist

A medical clinic in the Westwood area is looking for a Medical Receptionist to join their team. As a Medical Receptionist, daily responsibilities consist of checking in patients (volume of 30-40 patients a day), utilizing the clinic's EMR system to update patient records, and answering phones to assist patients with scheduling appointments. Other responsibilities consist of verifying insurance (HMO, PPO, Medicare, Medi-Cal) and submitting authorizations. The ideal candidate MUST have at least two or more years of healthcare experience and knowledge of EPIC or NextGen (preferably). Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
