As our Hospital System Budget Director, you will lead an exceptional team of professionals as you supervise and coordinate the preparation of a nearly $3 billion annual operating budget that includes over 600 cost centers.
You will work with the CFO to prepare forecasts and financial and volume targets.
You will also lead the annual capital budget process as well as provide oversight for routine capital requests.
Other responsibilities include: Coordinating the position control process to ensure the optimal use of human capital.
Indirectly managing the development of financial forecasting functions Preparing month-end close materials and schedules Developing monthly cash flow budget Overseeing the preparation of monthly supply expenditure reports Participating in ROI committee meetings Coordinating the preparation of financial and budget analysis requests UCLA Health is a world-renowned health system with four award-winning hospitals and dozens of primary care practices, specialty practices, urgent care centers and other ancillary locations throughout metro Los Angeles.

Qualifications We're seeking a highly-skilled, customer service focused professional with: Bachelor's degree in a business-related field - advance degree preferred At least ten years of relevant experience in an academic medical center, hospital system, or consulting/accounting firm Previous management experience In-depth knowledge of the financial elements of health care delivery Ability to develop, lead and inspire a superior management team Passion for process improvement Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
