Senior Speech Pathologist

Responsibilities
The candidate will assess inpatients with swallowing, communication, and cognitive disorders. There may be some outpatient work involved. The candidate will adequately document services provided to patients. The candidate will follow applicable Medical Center, Clinic, Joint Commission, Dept of Public Health policies and procedures. The candidate will interact with patients, their families, and Medical Center Staff in a customer friendly manner.

QualificationsCandidate will have a minimum of a Master's degree in Speech Pathology and a Speech Pathology license from the State of California. The candidate must be able to competently and independently assess and treat complex patients with swallowing, communication, and cognitive disorders. Candidate must write well. Candidate needs to be sufficiently computer literate to efficiently document using word processing programs and the electronic medical record.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
