Application Analyst, Ambulatory/Cadence

ResponsibilitiesWorking under the direction of the Application Manager, the Application Analyst (AA) functions as the primary build expert to configure, build and install Ambulatory and Cadence and/or assigned projects. The AA will perform in depth and precise investigation and documentation of future- state operational specifications and application functionality. The AA must have in-depth knowledge of the Epic software application as well as understand the policies, procedures and constraints of the clinical or business operation supported by the application. The AA develops and documents internal procedures, collects information and prepares specifications of system enhancements, analyzes functionality in new releases and tests each new release. The AA also assists in the development of user training aids and may train end users in workflow and use of the application. AA functions as the primary contact to troubleshoot problems and questions from end-users during training, go-live and stabilization periods.

Qualifications- B.A. / B.S. degree preferred or at least four years of experience
- EpicCare Ambulatory certification (Required)
- Knowledge in and/or Certified in Kaleidoscope, Healthy Planet, Cadence applications (Preferred)
- Knowledge in and/or Certified in Reporting applications (Preferred)
- Knowledge of current issues in the healthcare environment preferred
- Demonstrated skill in system workflow and business process flow analysis and design
- Prior experience with IT systems and systems development projects
- Initiative and ability to work independently while thriving in a setting requiring collaboration and teamwork
- Attention to detail that ensures follow through on all initiatives implemented and all projects undertaken
- Effective written & verbal communication skills
- Superior organizational and people management skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to lead meetings and resolve conflicts
- Ability to research, organize, analyze, and synthesize data to support effective decision making

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
