Assistant Paramedic Program Director

As the Assistant Paramedic Program Director at the UCLA Center for Prehospital Care, you'll be part of the west coast's leading emergency and prehospital academic center and work closely with our world renown faculty Dr. Heather Davis, Dr. Baxter Larmon and Mr. David Page. The Center's Paramedic Program serves the educational needs of the EMS community, providing paramedic traditional, hybrid, preparatory and refresher programs.
You will manage the day-to-day operations of the paramedic program as well as teach in the program. Duties include managing the syllabus, lecture schedule, student progress and counseling, student requirements, grades and class orientation. You will provide psychomotor skills program supervision, clinical supervision, field internship oversight, , competency verification, learning management system coordination, oversight of distance education programs, graduation planning, program evaluation, and implementation of affiliation agreements. You will also participate in program/curriculum planning, admissions, human resources, budgeting, accreditation activities and interfacing with stakeholders.
We're seeking a customer-focused professional with the ability to obtain California licensure as a Paramedic, Registered Nurse, Physician's Assistant or Physician. You must also possess:
Bachelor's Degree in health services, education, sciences, business or a related field - Master's preferred.
A minimum of three years clinical experience.
Five years experience as an educator, including two years in paramedic program instruction.
Experience with distributed/distance learning using Adobe Connect, Blackboard, Zoom or similar system preferred.
A background delivering fire based EMS educational programs.
Previous managerial experience, including budgeting.
Proficiency in student evaluations - cognitive, psychomotor and affective.
Knowledge of CoAEMSP accreditation.
ACLS/BCLS/PALS certification.
Certification as a Basic Life Support and Prehospital Trauma Life Support Instructor.
Computer proficiency with MC Office.
Experience delivering large scale and high profile education programs.
Strong communication, negotiation, team-building and stress management skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, holidays, weekends, and on call.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
