Job Description:
You can help patients achieve new independence after an accident, illness, or injury.
As an Occupational Therapist at UCLA Health, you'll apply your expertise in acute, outpatient, NICU, and neuro rehab practice areas to alleviate suffering and help patients recover faster.
Responsibilities This position is located in our Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital in our Inpatient Unit.
Implement direct patient care through small and large group activities Monday-Friday evenings on inpatient units.
Report ongoing patient progress to the occupational therapists assigned to the units for consideration in treatment planning.
Comply with Regulatory agencies, and institutional and operating systems.
Adhere to all hospital Policies and Procedures as they apply to the area.
Knowledge and adherence to Infection Prevention and Environment of Care guidelines and Procedures as they are described in new hire orientation and the annual orientation module.
Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
Qualifications Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy school and California Occupational Therapy license Initial and continuing certification with NBCOT Licensure with CBOT

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
