As the Nursing Professional Development Specialist for Simulation, you will manage our simulation training program to facilitate lifelong learning for our nursing staff.
You will assess needs and develop, implement, evaluate, and revise programs for orientation, in-service-training, workshops, and continuing education.
You will also provide direct services and consultation related to the design, presentation, and evaluation of our educational offerings.
We're looking to you to be a role model, change agent and advocate for the nursing practice.
Qualifications We're seeking a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator with: MSN, preferably in Nursing Education Current RN licensure Three years acute care experience Healthcare Simulation Educator certification preferred Proven expertise in the use of simulation for nursing education, including needs assessment, development of scenarios and scripts, use of low and high-fidelity simulation, debriefing and mentoring Experience developing simulation instructors Knowledge of Adult Learning Theory Experience with training program evaluation, development and implementation Ability to act as consultant in appropriate areas of expertise; prepare reports and presentations Professional working relationship with nursing and interdisciplinary colleagues Nursing Professional Development Certification preferred UCLA Health is a world-renowned health system with four award-winning hospitals and dozens of primary care practices, specialty practices, urgent care centers and other ancillary locations throughout metro Los Angeles.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
