As a Strategic Sourcing Coordinator - Imaging, you will collaborate with leaders in our imaging service line as well as our suppliers to develop multi-year strategic initiatives that leverage system-wide volume.
With an emphasis on cost reduction and improving our supply chain management, you will work to optimize the number of vendors and provide pre-arranged supply channels and contracting.
You will review purchasing agreements to initiate supply cost reduction and strategic sourcing initiatives.
This position is also responsible for leading strategic sourcing committees and training/leading others in developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives.
We're seeking a strong leader with a graduate degree in a related field and: At least five years experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain management, preferably with a large academic medical center Expertise in the procurement of goods and services Ability to perform complex analysis to develop strategic sourcing and cost saving initiatives Understanding of enterprise integrated financial systems, including procurement systems Knowledge of relevant industry trends and issues Ability to translate complex information and situational analysis into logical and objective solutions Experience establishing and monitoring appropriate performance metrics Strong skills in directing cross-organizational workgroups and building consensus Proficiency in Microsoft suite of software applications UCLA Health is a world-renowned health system with four award-winning hospitals and dozens of primary care practices, specialty practices, urgent care centers and other ancillary locations throughout metro Los Angeles.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
