Application Manager, Professional Billing

Job Description:
Responsibilities The Application Manager (AM) functions as the primary expert for the application and oversees the work activities of the build team.
Working in conjunction with the Director of Revenue Cycle Applications, the AM defines objectives and manages the configuration, build, implementation, support, maintenance, and optimization of the application.
Responsible for planning, structuring, and monitoring system implementation, as well as testing and change control procedures.
The AM takes direction from, and collaborates with, the Director on work priorities and manages the resolution of escalated issues.
The AM partners with subject matter experts and other CareConnect AMs to ensure build consistency and a successful end-to-end patient centric workflow.
The AM identifies and plans appropriate training for team members and leads the team in attaining a high level of application knowledge.
Qualifications Must be certified in the application and have knowledge of the supported business workflows 3-5+ years of relevant IT or healthcare experience, with a track record of growth Good understanding of Information Technology practices & Project Management techniques Superior organizational ability to plan, execute and complete application projects of medium size Ability to mentor staff with technical and business-related matters Ability to work with ease with a variety of individuals Ability to provide superior customer service Ability to demonstrate cooperation, teamwork and constructive conflict resolution Must be able to appropriately document application changes Conduct staff evaluations and develop follow-up actions as needed Experience working in a distributed work environment Strong communication and facilitation skills across all mediums (email, phone, telepresence, etc.
) and all levels of an organization.
Demonstrated experience managing without authority and managing up.
Must possess strong technical experience and background working within an EMR; Epic preferred.
Must possess a working knowledge of operational workflow and/or settings of business area(s) where application is used Demonstrated ability and experience in managing expectations across all levels of an organization Ability to assess business needs and scope and translate into technical requirements

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
