Assistant Director - Accountable Care\Pop. Health

Job Description:
Responsibilities In this role, the Assistant Director will collaborate with Office of Population Health and Accountable Care leadership to develop and execute on a division's individualized strategy that will build and drive improvement down to all levels within their departments and divisions.
The Assistant Director will then lead and oversee a team of program managers as they manage the necessary projects with leadership, frontline clinicians, and staff in order to show improvement on established quality and utilization improvement accountable care goals.
Qualifications Must have previous work experience in project management, healthcare economics, data analysis, and strong organizational, communication and leadership skillsAn MBA, MHA, MPH or other appropriate graduate degree is highly desiredSkill to research and analyze information, problems, situation and procedures to define objectives, identify patterns, and formulate conclusionsExcellent oral and communication skills to obtain and convey correct and complete information and concepts to individuals and groups in formal and informal situationsAbility to make presentations to senior managementExcellent resolution skills to plan activities among individuals and groups in a wide variety of working relationshipsSkill in negotiating, exchanging ideas, information, and opinions with others to formulate policies and programs and/or arrive jointly at decisions, conclusions or solutionsPrior experience supervising employees (as directed) including selection, training, work assignments and review, motivation, performance appraisal, career counseling and disciplineWorking knowledge of clinical program planning, cash and accrual accounting, financial management control systems, financial analysis and management reporting, and the operation aspects of clinical programs in ambulatory teaching settingsExperience in clinical planning, financial analysis and business planning, and operational affairs of a major research oriented medical school or teaching hospitalAbility to be a team player, flexible and capable of working in an environment which is fast paced, progressive and requires entrepreneurial thinking and action

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
