As a Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will apply the art and science of diagnostic evaluation and therapeutics through safe and effective use of radionuclides.
You will be responsible for patient interviews, instruction, and care; preparation, quality control, calibration, and administration of radiopharmaceutical compounds; execution of patient imaging and therapeutic procedures, including computer processing and image enhancement; and laboratory testing.
You will use your knowledge of radiation physics and safety regulations to limit radiation exposure to the general public, patients, fellow workers, and yourself.

To qualify for this key role, you will need: Current Nuclear Medicine Technology licensureCertification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N) ARRT-R, ARRT-CT or NMTCB-CT preferredWorking knowledge of relevant nuclear medicine technologyAbility to understand patient records, forms, technical procedures and policy manuals in standard EnglishStrong communication, interpersonal, organizational and multi-tasking skillsAbility to work with self-initiative and minimum supervision in the performance of nuclear medicine procedures.
Interpersonal skills to relate to patients of all age groups or their families with sensitivity and compassion.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
