Mobility Engineer
Job Description:
Responsibilities The Mobility Engineer is an essential role for UCLA Health Sciences in providing secure and robust messaging, collaboration, authentication, identity management, and mobility solutions.
The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to performing discovery, build, implementation, and support of enterprise mobile management solutions.
In addition to engineering responsibilities, the incumbent will also be responsible for operational tasks that include completing service requests, incident tickets, system maintenance, system configuration, adhering to and creating standard operating procedures, staff training, and documentation.
In addition, other role functions may include design, installation, system performance monitoring, system optimization, and problem resolution on various systems.
Qualifications Minimum accreditation required in VMWare AirWatch Associate: Enterprise Mobility 1+ year experience required in real-world MDM solutions (e.
g.
MaaS360, AirWatch, Good, etc.
) Good working knowledge of ActiveSync, Microsoft Office 365, and MS Active Directory ServicesKnowledge of DNS, DHCP, WINS, and TCP/IPAbility to prepare detailed project plans, presentations, procedures, diagrams, and other technical documentationAbility to research and test new technologies and processesDemonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to complex problemsStrong knowledge of Android and/or iOS security framework and application developmentExperience in product development and management lifecycle, particularly for mobile products and servicesIn-depth knowledge of security best practices in large-scale environments
